AIDS Walk New York

Well, the AIDS walk was fun. The weather was quite nice, despite forecasts of rain. The rain held off until afterwards. It took about 2.5 hours to walk 6 miles. ..there were so many people there. I reached my personal goal and my team raised just over $1,000. That's pretty good for 3 people. So thanks to all who supported.

Another Sex in the City Weekend

Arsh came up this weekend and we had a wonderful time. We really planned to make it an educational weekend, you know, by going to a museum, seeing the Statue of Liberty and going to the Empire State Bldg....but somehow we ended up shopping most of the time. And of course we had the mandatory Trivial Pursuit game against Christian...I will defeat him one of these days!!!

The SITC tour is just as good the 2nd time around! Posted by Hello

We went there but the sign said 'Visibility-- 0 miles'....so what was the point in going up? Posted by Hello

That 'speck' in the background is Lady Liberty...the last ferry left at 4pm, we got there at 4:10pm. The website only says that Liberty Island is open until 5pm, it should mention the last ferry time. Posted by Hello

Gelato anyone? Posted by Hello

We made it to Serendipity, but we had cheesecake instead of the frozen hot chocolate...we'll have to go back for that! Posted by Hello
